For Latvia from the Heart
For Latvia from the Heart ((ラトビア語:No sirds Latvijai)) is a conservative political party in Latvia founded in May 2014 by former State Auditor Inguna Sudraba.
==History==
The party was established on 5 May by Inguna Sudraba,〔(Sudraba's For Latvia from the Heart becomes political party ) Baltic Course, 6 May 2014〕 a former State Auditor.〔(Guide to 2014 Saeima elections: The Parties (Part 3) ) LSM, 25 September 2014〕 During a speech announcing that she was entering politics, Sudraba heard that the Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis had resigned, and subsequently fainted.〔
Although Sudraba had a clean image amongst the Latvian public, the 2014 election campaign saw her being filmed having lunch with an oligarch and refuse to fully answer questions about the party's funding.〔 The party campaigned on a general platform of fair wages and pensions, as well as increasing the accountability of government. In the parliamentary elections in October 2014 the party passed the electoral threshold, ensuring representation in the Saeima.
